Nike

College Football is about branding and for almost a decade one of the biggest brands in the game has been without the biggest brand in sports apparel. In 2007 The Michigan Wolverines said goodbye to Nike and signed with Adidas. In the time, Michigan has undergone multiple changes at the head coach position as well as fallen from grace as one of the powers in the college football world.

In comes new head coach Jim Harbaugh. Former quarterback and alum. An infusion of new life, energy and most importantly winning came with his arrival. Branding has always been big with Michigan and wanting to set the bar in a way that Michigan can only do it, The Wolverines struck a deal to bring back Nike as their supplier of athletic apparel but they’ve also done something that hasn’t been done on the gridiron as of yet and that is attach the biggest name in sports to the Michigan logo; The JUMPMAN.

At midnight on August 1, 2016 The M Den, the official supplier of Michigan Wolverines apparel opened its doors to fans to all the latest Nike and Jordan Brand Michigan apparel and as Michigan fans always do, they packed the house.

The new apparel is a sight for sore eyes and brings a “dope” style of swag back to the university that hasn’t been seen in a while.

They say “look good, play good” and if this sneak peek at the new uniforms that the football and basketball teams will be sporting is any indication of what is to come, the folks in Ann Arbor will be very happy.
