Without D'Angelo Russell, the Lakers have hit a bit of a rough patch. Still, the future is bright. Lou Williams may be sixth man of the year, and Jordan Clarkson still sounds like one of the better deal in free agency. Brandon Ingram may need to sit out games for the buffet table.
Milwaukee is more on the cusp, and may be the sleeper in the east. Is the Greek Freak the Greek superstar? Is Jabari a worthy Robin? And how exactly does Matthew Dellavadova get things done?

The Washington Wizards signed Bradley Beal to a monster free agent deal this offseason, but the Wizards slow start under new coach Scott Brooks has some wondering what exactly the backcourt of Beal and John Wall will bring the Wizards. Is it time to ditch the experiment? Markieff Morris, subtraction by addition? Has Marcus Thornton played for every team in the league?
From there, the hosts will switch coasts and visit the Phoenix Suns. Who is the odd man out? Is Devin Booker the next star, or did we crown him too early?

DeMar DeRozen leads the league in scoring, and Kyle Lowry is playing a great supporting role. But, is that enough to make the Raptors a contender for the Eastern Conference or is this just their MO now? We also attempt to find DeMarre Carroll, and figure out how to pronounce Bebe.
Speaking of contenders, the LA Clippers are also on the menu, and their probability of winning the Western Conference.

When Mike D'Antoni took the job in Houston, many wondered how the creative offensive mind would work with one of the most prolific offensive players the NBA has ever seen in James Harden. His solution: turn the prolific shooting guard into a prolific point guard. BRILLIANT! Or is it?
Also, it is easy to make predictions in the preseason, but sometimes it takes a few games to really feel good about them. Which predictions are we sitting comfortably with? And are the Baby Lakers suddenly the most entertaining team in Los Angeles?

We start our journey around the NBA, where we watch every team for one week out west with the Portland Trailblazers. Damian Lillard starts his MVP campaign? Which Blazer reminds us the bad old days in Portland, and what does 150 million dollars buy you in today's NBA?
Plus, we venture into the Warriors first loss, and try to figure out which superstar stuck without much talent we feel worse for, Russell Westbrook or Anthony Davis?

THE TIME HAS COME. BASKETBALL IS BACK.
Yes, we are excited if you can't tell, and we will do our best to incorrectly predict everything that is going to happen in the coming months. These incorrect predictions include all of the major awards, conference predictions, surprise teams, and of course, a no look pass you may not be expecting that would change the layout of the entire season.

Imagine if you took all the shooting guards in the NBA, put them in a pool, and drafted them 2K style? Well, that's exactly what we do at the NLP Podcast. Join us and see what we think of the young guns like Devin Booker, Jordan Clarkson, and Zach LaVine, and where they rank with the old guard like Dwyane Wade, Monta Eliis, and Jamal Crawford, and a change at number one from last year.
The hosts will also talk specifically about the placement of Kyle Korver, Khris Middleton, Archie Goodwin (!), and Bradley Beal on the list, and attempt to justify their picks.

What if you could throw all of the point guards into a free agent pool and draft them fantasy style like you do in 2K? That is what we do here at the No Look Pass Podcast. From 1-30, we decide who we would take just for the upcoming season in our annual positional drafts.
We will tell you who has risen and fallen from last year, justify our own picks, but more importantly, question each other.

With the Olympics approaching, the story thus far has been the guys who have decided not to show up. LeBron James, Steph Curry, and others took a pass on the 2016 team in Rio, but one player is more than a familiar face on the roster, Carmelo Anthony. He is the first American basketball player to participate in four Olympic games, and may shatter multiple USA records this time around. But, what does that mean for Melo's legacy?
Also, do we consider James Harden "great"? And does Klay Thompson have to make sacrifices for the Warriors to succeed?

Though much of the free agency buzz has died down, there are still players that are looking for a home next season, and we will discuss who the best of the bunch is, and who we are surprised is on the market.
There will also be a student's favorite time: a pop quiz! We ask ten questions about the season that just past to see how quick we forget the events from the prior season.
