Welcome to "The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab", the 2015 Online Media Award Winning Podcast by What A Fan, part of the War Room Sports Podcast Network, sponsored by DeWalt Brewing Company, and hosted by "The Mad Scientist of Sports" Nick Ficorelli and "The Nutty Professor" Andrew Gluchov. This is not the average everyday sports show they are bringing to the air waves. "The Mad Scientist" has created his own personal sports lab, and you, the audience, as well as many of his special guests, will be his test subjects. He will throw theories out, and you never know where they will be coming from. He will keep everyone guessing, and he will open his lab to any and all comers. Be prepared for "mad science" sports talk at its best.
This week on "The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab", we will be talking about the life of NHL legend Gordie Howe, MLB, NCA Football, and more. At the start, we welcome Russ Cohen of Sirius XM Radio, Bryan Yates of NHL On The Ice, and Chris Wassel of Today's Slapshot back to the lab to talk about the life and legacy of Gordie Howe, who passed away yesterday at the age of 88. Up next, we welcome back Joshua Greenberg from Last Word On Sports to talk some baseball - Ventura-Machado, did it wake up the Orioles, any surprises or disappointments from the first third of the season, and more . At the top of hour #2, we welcome back Tony Siracusa of Last Word On Sports to talk NCAA Football and get his never too early Top 5 for the 2016 season, And lastly, we welcome B Austin of War Room Sports, as Nick and B talk up the "News of the Week"
The beacons are lit, the experiments are on the board, and the test subjects are at the ready. The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab is officially open for business.

Join us this week as we dig deep into the Civil Rights Era.
"The Greatest of All Time", Muhammad Ali, has passed away at the age of 74 and we will take a look back at his storied life and career, in and outside of the squared-circle.
We'll also discuss the Spike Lee Lil Joint/ESPN Film "Redemption Song", about the racial injustices faced by the Howard University National Championship Soccer Teams in the 1970's. Joining us for two separate conversations are the film's producer, Mark W. Wright, and the coach of those legendary teams, Lincoln "Tiger" Phillips.
