Welcome to "The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab", the 2015 Online Media Award Winning Podcast by What A Fan, hosted by "The Mad Scientist of Sports" Nick Ficorelli and "The Nutty Professor" Andrew Gluchov. This is not the average everyday sports show they are bringing to the air waves. "The Mad Scientist" has created his own personal sports lab, and you, the audience, as well as many of his special guests, will be his test subjects. He will throw theories out, and you never know where they will be coming from. He will keep everyone guessing, and he will open his lab to any and all comers. Be prepared for "mad science" sports talk at its best.

We have a very special guest for this show, as former Major League Baseball player Marvin Freeman joins us in the lab. Marvin played for the Phillies, Braves and Rockies during his career, and came in 4th in the 1994 Cy Young voting. He will talk about his career, any special memories he had, and will talk about his life after baseball and Also scheduled for this week's show - we welcome back Allie Fontana for her weekly segment "Allie's Fantasy Alley" to delve into the starts and sits, injuries, and more about Week 9 for your fantasy football needs. We also have Antwan Staley of Sports Talk Florida and Turron Davenport of The Baltimore Times to talk some College Football - the CFP Rankings, Saturday's games, and more.. Finally - The Mad Scientist and The Professor delve into "The News Of The Week" - MLB managerial changes, NBA season kickoff, and more.

This week is another jam-packed episode as we talk about some MLB History, NBA Free Agency Madness, NFL News, and more. At the onset, we welcome Russ Goldman of Patriots 4th and 2 and Gary Davenport of Bleacher Report into the lab to talk the wild and wacky week of the NFL - The Redskins Trademark Issue and why players shouldn't mess with fireworks. Halfway through the first hour, we have Derek Bain, the author of "Hardball Retrospective", which shines a light on the history of Major League Baseball. At the top of hour #2, we have Antwan Staley of NGSC Sports and Pro Players Insider to discuss NBA Free Agency, and DeAndre Jordan's swerve which possibly altered the Dallas Mavericks for a long time, and why it still won't help the Clippers get out of the 2nd round of the playoffs. And, in the final half hour, we have Terry P. Johnson of The Student Section joining us to talk some NCAA Football and give some of his early previews of the upcoming season.

"The Mad Scientist of Sports" Nick Ficorelli returns. However, this is not the average everyday sports show he is bringing back to the air waves. "The Mad Scientist" has created his own personal sports lab, and you, the audience, as well as many of his special guests, will be his test subjects. He will throw theories out, and you never know where they will be coming from. He will keep everyone guessing, and he will open his lab to any and all comers. Be prepared for "mad science" of sports at its best.

This week, The Mad Scientist's Special Guest will be none other than "The General" Mike Patton, of City Sports Report. It is no secret that "The Mad Scientist" and "The General" don't agree on many sports topics, but the debates are always in good clean old-fashioned fun, and there will be no doubt it will happen again, this time LIVE ON AIR. The lineup also includes Antwan Staley (@AntwanStaley) of BlackRedSoxFan.com and Pro Players Insider to talk about an event he went to for the Florida Panthers regarding Autism, as well the new back-up goalie competition and other NHL News; AT the top of the second hour, Derek Helling from Outside Pitch MLB (@DHellingOPS and @OPSN_MLB) will be joining us for his weekly segment and will be previewing the National League East; In the final 30 minutes, Brandon Pemberton (@BrandonOnSports) of Brandon on Sports, Sports Trap Radio, War Room Sports, and Pro Players Insider will join us to talk some NFL, specifically the carnage being left by Chip Kelly with the Philadelphia Eagles.
