Join us this week as we invite you into The War Room to discuss all the big stories from the world of sports.
We'll discuss some boxing news, birthdays, Michael Jordan, NFL Preseason, and much more.
Of course we'll break down Hall of Fame wide receiver Cris Carter's now infamous "fall guy" remarks to last year's NFL rookies.
As usual, we'll have Fred Perdue in the fold talking about the latest in college football.
"This portion of the revolution will not be televised, but EVERYBODY can listen."
Don't miss it!
With the NFL season less than three weeks away, get ready for a football-heavy edition of The Broad Street Line! We'll kick things off by recapping the Philadelphia Eagles' 40-17 victory over the Baltimore Ravens last weekend. With the "dress rehearsal" coming up this week, we'll tell you whether Sam Bradford and the rest of the Birds are ready for primetime.
Later in the show, we'll continue our 2015 NFL Preview series with a look at both the AFC and NFC South. And once we roll through that, we'll run down our college football Top 10 and tell you who the early favorites are in the Heisman race. So, for all of that and more, come and take a ride on The Broad Street Line: The future of sports talk radio has finally arrived.

We got to see Sam Bradford and DeMarco Murray for the first time and Kenyon Barner looks to have locked himself into a job as the Eagles return specialist. I will also go around the NFL, discussing all of the preseason action I've watched, along with the injury bug, which has hit a lot of teams! Bob Lung of ffconsistency.com is set to join us to discuss his fantasy football book, drafting strategies, and fantasy football sleepers!
Welcome to "The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab", hosted by "The Mad Scientist of Sports" Nick Ficorelli and "The Apprentice" Andrew Gluchov. This is not the average everyday sports show they are bringing to the air waves. "The Mad Scientist" has created his own personal sports lab, and you, the audience, as well as many of his special guests, will be his test subjects. He will throw theories out, and you never know where they will be coming from. He will keep everyone guessing, and he will open his lab to any and all comers. Be prepared for "mad science" sports talk at its best.
This week, we present our annual special, "The Ladies of Fantasy Football". When you look into the realm of Fantasy Football, people would think it is a male-dominated scene, but alas, you would be wrong, as the ladies that are on tonight are absolutely amazing at their craft, and are world-renowned for their prowess. At the open, we welcome Allie Fontana from The Fantasy Fix and The Inscriber, and ESPN's Renee Miller, to talk about the Quarterback position. At the bottom of the first hour, we welcome FanDuel's Jessica Kleinschmidt into the lab, and she will talk about running backs. At the top of hour #2, we welcome back The Fantasy Football Girl and Scout.com's Liz Loza to talk Wide Receivers and Tight Ends. And to close the show, we welcome Jen Ryan of Blindside Football and DraftKings, to talk about the wonderful world of Daily Fantasy Sports.
The beacons are lit, the experiments are on the chalkboard, and the test subjects are at the ready. "The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab" is OPEN for business.
Join us this week as The Generals invite you into The War Room for a debriefing on the important issues from the week of sports.
We'll discuss NFL joint team practices and whether or not they are good for the game. We'll tackle the circus in Washington and address the latest controversial comments from the team's star quarterback, as well as the potentially divisive situation being caused by the team's former star tight end. We'll also discuss the culture of "participation trophies", the importance of the film "Straight Outta Compton", and a whole lot more.
Fred Perdue of College Football Extra will join us to give us his first college football report of the upcoming season in his weekly segment.
"This portion of the revolution will not be televised, but EVERYBODY can listen."
Wrestling expert Andrew Goldstein joins us on this episode of The Broad Street Line to help us handicap SummerSlam. As someone who was once part of the WWE creative team, Andrew will give us the inside scoop on what we can expect this weekend.
At the top of the show, we'll take a look back at the Philadelphia Eagles preseason opener and tell you what their 36-10 victory over the Indianapolis Colts really means going forward. And, as always, we'll get you caught up on the past week in sports as only we can. So, for all of that and more, come and take a ride on The Broad Street Line: The future of sports talk radio has finally arrived.
